Finally I'm an adult, because now I have a grown-ups' bed :) I've always slept in a 120 cm bed since I was about 14 years. So after 10 years I finally have a 160 cm bed! It makes a huge difference since there are always 2 people sleeping in the bed. And it's summer and so too freaking hot that sleeping in my old bed became almost impossible...
And then when the bed was here I thought "What the hell, I'll change the picture on the wall too and buy a new bed cover!" The blue stuff on the wall now are actually old factory blue prints that would have gone to garbage otherwise. I thought they were such a beautiful shade of blue with the worn out edges that they had to be hung on the wall.
The new silver stuff on top of the "bed end" are mainly from IKEA (except the retro fan). The bed is called Malm and the end thing has actually 2 bedside tables inside it that you can roll in and out. It looks better when they're out of sight, but they're extremely handy. Not collecting dust in there! The mattress is a "zone mattress" that's been divided into different zones, where for example there's more support for your bum and shoulders. I'm not sure yet if it's a good or a bad one, but luckilly they have a 90 days return policy in IKEA. We'll have to sleep some more to make our minds!

April shopping
I wanna show my favourite things I bought this month. Not much (which is good), but enough. Our home is far from ready (we still have a bed in the living room... Which is actually great for studying: comfortable but not the bed you're supposed to fall a sleep on. And I'm not even a student anymore but I still study Spanish almost every night!)
First: Tulips! (First time ever that I bought cut flowers to myself! Absolutely not the last. I don't expect receiving flowers every two weeks from my guy...:))
Second: Iittala mini Aalto candle holder (the pretty one in the lower corner)
Third: Retro art from my favourite second hand store (to our kitchen and hall door)
Fourth: A Nomination bracelet and a heart piece for it for 14 € from my second favourite 2nd hand store Fida, where my friend works. I always want to wear something on my wrist, but I haven't had anything there for a long time (I tend to lose everything I own if I carry them with me). Conclusion: happy at an affordable price :)

Bean Soup
Weird weird Sunday. I should have a huge hangover, because last night I was so drunk I forgot to take my ID to the city after our housewarming party and I was just afraid I wouldn't get inside because I was so drunk. (Well, I did, maybe because I finally started to look like an old woman.) Anyway, this weirdness is probably caused by one pill I swallowed... I discovered a whole new world of no hangover. The secret is to take a B-vitamin pill before going to sleep :) Works almost every time, but I still think it's weird, because normally my Sundays after hard partying are pure hell. So, I dedicate this weird picture of my bean soup for this weird Sunday.
Today was also the first day of year I really felt the vitamin D in me. I was sunbathing under a blanket, ankles outside the balcony. Eyes closed, cool breeze, hot sun, almost hearing the freckles multiplying. I don't know what would be better.

Helsinki in Green
Last autumn I thought I'd make a collage of green and red buildings in Helsinki, but I totally forgot it. Now that my computer broke (mutherfucker!) and I started testing my copies if they work, I found those pictures. So I said to then 'long time no see' and pushed them into one:
